BACKGROUND
Bebe was born in Amber City's Southside nearly 16 years ago. Her mother, Annette Banard, worked as a laundress. Bebe never knew her father. Annette told Bebe that he died before she was born.

There wasn't money for school, but Bebe's mother taught her to read, write and do figures. Bebe helped with the laundry, but she wasn't a hard worker. She didn't like to work. All of her spare time was spent drawing. When there wasn't enough money for paper and charcoals, Bebe begged on the street, or picked pockets. When she got good at that, she bought canvas and paints.

Two weeks ago, Bebe's mother died of consumption. Bebe doesn't know any of her mother's family. Her mother never talked about them. Bebe is all alone and time is running out. The rent is due in a few days. She hasn't been able to keep up with her mother's laundry business. She's lost nearly all of the accounts. She's got to find that money somewhere...

DESCRIPTION
Bebe is tall and slender with wavy blonde hair and hazel eyes that change from blue to green, depending on her mood. She stands at the cusp of womanhood and she knows she's pretty. The men on the street say so. She thinks she might be able to use that to her advantage, if she has to.
